out of sorts

So I have been a little out of sorts lately..... just so much going on really. My 5 boys got out of school a week and a half ago and there are always many end of the year festivities. I had a garage sale last weekend - which I prepared for all week and so I haven't done much scrapbooking.. even what I have done I have not been inspired to do ( even with the great sketches...lol) So I am hoping that in the coming weeks I can get my mojo back :)This is for this weeks sketch #16 at The Scrappiest! There is a great Sketch at The Scrappiest this week! This is my version, but check it out and play along.... The other DT members came up with some beautiful LO's!

I used the new summer line from imaginisce ... and on my plain white cardstock I placed flowers and then sprayed glimmer mists over them to create the background. I really love the colors in the new line :)

April Showers bring.........

This is my take on another great sketch from Pink Sketches. You should really check them out... It is alot of fun :) I took these pics just after our big spring snowstorm a couple of weeks ago. The journaling reads: "April Showers bring May flowers" or so the saying goes. In Colorado, however, April "showers" bring really BIG snowmen. Kids from our neighborhood spent an entire day building what had to be a 10 foot snowman. You all spent hours playing with it before it melted. April 2009

Angel Baby

I have been on the hunt for the perfect picture to use with this new line of Prima paper and flowers. I love this pic....I actually peeled it off of a not so great LO I made about 7 years ago of my youngest...LOL. and scanned it so I could turn it B/W. I found the crystal garland on clearance at Michaels (score) I love how it turned out :)
